General Questions
How do I become a Carer?
There are no barriers when it comes to our recruitment. We take on anybody from all backgrounds. To work with us you will need some experience within the care industry and a clear DBS.
Do I need any specific Qualification?
No specific qualification are necessary however, a diploma in Health and Social Care either level 2 or 3 would be benefical
Can I work days and nights?
We try to cater for all our carers situations. You will be able to choose which shifts best suits you – days or nights
Do I need to be able to drive?
A number of our vacancies require applicants to drive and hold a full UK driving Licence. However, many vacancies do not require you to drive. Contact us directly to find out more.
Would I need to do on-the-job training?
All our Support Individuals have specific needs therefore all applicants will need to specific training, to be able to carry out his/her care duties efficiently. All training will be organised by PB Locums Ltd
What is your recruitment process like?
We try to keep things as streamline as possible regarding recruitment. As restrictive measures are currently in place, our recruitment process is completely remote via telephone or Zoom.
Can I work overtime or extra shifts
Yes you will be able to work extra shift and overtime, aline with the goverment guidelines regarding additional working week hours. The care we provide is Supported Individual specific so you would need to trained to work with more than one package.
